Q: What is the Watermelon Gang?

A: In 1995, I got my first four Star Trek action figures for my 10th birthday: Janeway, Tuvok, Neelix, and the Holodoc. Over the years, as I got my friends into Star Trek, our collections of figures grew. No longer are these action figures simply B'Elanna Torres or Geordie LaForge. They have evolved into characters with their own claims to individuality, and many live in The Town. The figures are now simply shells, into which I put original characters.

Over the years, more and more new action figures have arrived, opening the door to new games and the creation of new characters. They are always ready to party, dress up in wild outfits, and do strange things. Today, my friends and I have over 60 action figures combined. This is the Watermelon Gang, and that is why at the end of the day, I have dozens of weirdos living in a canvas bag under my bed. This is a document of their games.
